Spending a holiday with us means above all resting the body and mind, discovering a less well-known part of Tuscany, tasting forgotten flavours and immersing yourself in nature.<\/span><\/p>

We are lucky enough to live in a corner of paradise<\/strong>. This is how our guests commonly describe l\u2019Apparita. It will be our pleasure to share this privilege with you during your holiday.<\/p>

The stone house where we live has undergone renovation respecting the traditions of Tuscan architectural style. It faces the old village of San Dalmazio<\/strong>, which is about 700 metres away. This is where Carlo Cassola set his novel \u201cThe cutting of the forest\u201d.<\/p>

We offer hospitable accommodation in six rooms in total (B&B), two double rooms and four triple rooms, sleeping up to 16 people. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, terrace and a private entrance accessed through the garden.<\/p>

Two of the rooms are found within the barn, renovated in 2010, which is about 50 metres from the farmhouse. There are two swimming pools available for guests, one for adults and one for children. Our water purification systems are chlorine-free.<\/p>

Our farm, situated at an altitude of 350 metres, extends over 60 hectares<\/strong> and has grown cereals and olives using organic methods since 1993.<\/p>

Extra virgin olive oil is the most precious product of our farm.<\/p>

We are situated in Tuscany in the municipality of Pomarance<\/strong>, in the Alta Val di Cecina. Its cultural centre is Volterra<\/strong>, an important art city of Etruscan origin which is also full of remains and artefacts from the Roman, Medieval and Renaissance periods<\/strong>.<\/p>

The forests of Berignone<\/strong>, Tatti<\/strong> and Monterufoli<\/strong> are all nearby. Monterufoli is now the largest nature reserve in Tuscany. They are ideal places for excursions, interesting for their natural beauty and biological diversity.<\/p>

Halfway along a lovely walk from our farmhouse you will come across the imposing Rocca Sillana (12th century) that dominates its entire surroundings.<\/p>

Within an hour by car you can visit art cities such as Siena (50 km), Florence (75 km), Pisa (80km), San Gimignano (45 km), Massa Marittima and San Galgano (40 km) and also the thermal baths of Venturina \u201cIl Calidario\u201d and the thermal centre of Casciana Terme (55 km), the geothermal natural pool \u201cAqua Harda\u201d (25 m) and you can reach the beaches of the Tyrrhenian sea within 40 km.<\/p>

Near us you can go horse riding or take horse riding lessons. Cycling lovers can find numerous cycle paths of varying levels of difficulty, either on roads or dirt tracks. For the kids we suggest \u201cThe Hanging Garden\u201d<\/strong> Adventure Park.<\/p><\/div>
